The Garden

It seems like the last few years that I have tried a garden I have been pregnant or had a new baby, which has been like the last 12 years, but that is another story for another time, which makes for a not so great garden effort. But this year, this year will be different! I hope! 
Jared and the kids even got the growing a garden bug. Everyone is growing something;
Jared -Yellow Bell Peppers (Even though he doesn't eat them..?)
Anthony -Onions (He eats them like apples w/a little salt)
Nicholas -Strawberries (Chocolate covered?)
Christopher -Watermelon (Because they are BIG)
Elizabeth -Strawberries (Definitely chocolate covered!)
Things I am growing; 
more watermelon, red and green bell pepper, honeydew, cucumber, lettuce, broccoli, 3 zucchini, and husky cherry tomato, roma tomato,juliet tomato and big bay tomato. I'm thinking about more zucchini and cucumbers but we will see....

With weeks of prep work my Mothers Day gift is growing well. With any luck, and if my children do not over water everything, we will be eating the fruits of our labors in a few months!

Beautiful Children

The kids were all ready for church the other day and all looking so nice and there was beautiful sunshine outside. So I lined them all up to get a few snapshots of them on the front porch before I herded them into the van. This is what I got. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
